Job Description:
  • Cloud Data Engineering + Cloud Data Architecture + Data Integration: Lead the design and implementation of robust, scalable, and secure data platform architecture that meets business requirements and industry best practices.
  • Data Architecture Expertise: Serve as a trusted advisor to our data architecture and data engineering teams, providing guidance on cloud architecture design, implementation strategies, and best practices.
  • GCP Expertise: Demonstrate proficiency in GCP tools and services, including BigQuery, CloudSpanner, Dataflow, DataForm, Dataprep, and Healthcare APIs. Stay abreast of GCP updates and incorporate new features into our architecture.
  • Solution Implementation: Guide, mentor, and work with the development team, translating architectural design into scalable systems. Enable Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment of data models, data pipelines, etc.
  • Healthcare Domain Knowledge: Knowledge in healthcare domain is good to have.
  • Cost Optimization: Analyze GCP Services and spending patterns to identify opportunities for cost optimization. Provide architecture recommendations on selection and resource allocation.
  • Data Solution Diagrams: Arrive at data solution diagrams, including data flow diagrams, use case models, etc.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with Data Modelers, Data Engineers, QA teams, and stakeholders to ensure a thorough understanding of requirements and deliver integrated solutions.
  • SQL Expertise: Expert in SQL.
  • ETL/ELT Architecture: Advanced experience with ETL/ELT architecture, data integration, warehouse implementations, and experience with enterprise-level ETL/ELT tools.
  • Programming Language Proficiency: Proficiency in Python and other programming languages.
  • Data Normalization & Denormalization: Advanced understanding of data normalization and denormalization techniques.
  • Data Integration Patterns: Exposure to batch, real-time, near real-time, and various data integration patterns.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to lead and facilitate discussions with business and technical stakeholders from executive-level leadership to daily hands-on contributors.
  • Time Management: Expert in time-management and self-directed activity.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years+ experience as an Architect.
